The Colorado Plains stretch from the Kansas border to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. At first glance, the high plains of Colorado are a mass of rolling hills and desert prairie filled with sagebrush and Pinon Pine, but a closer look will reveal spectacular hidden canyons and lush valleys. This photo gallery is here to give you a glimpse of the beauty on the plains, but to really appreciate the splendor you'll have to experience them for yourself.
