Otero County Colorado Obituaries

You may request copies of obituaries by writing to Heather Maes at the City Library in La Junta. Please follow the guidelines listed below. Donations are greatly appreciated and the money is used to expand the history collection at the library.

The following items must be included with your request:

• Your name

• Your e-mail address.

• Your mailing address.

• The names of the people you are looking for (no more than two).

• The town they lived in (must be La Junta, Swink, Rocky Ford or Cheraw).

• Their death date. You must have at least month and year.

• Be sure to thank Heather for her time!
