Ormega Cemetery Burials
Ormega Cemetery, also known as Otero County Cemetery and Hormiga Cemtery, is a small dry-land cemetery a mile and a half southwest of La Junta at the junction of Highway 350 and County Road Z. This little cemetery has been very neglected over the years, and the records have been lost or misplaced. There are 9 burials with the name still readable, 1 with only dates and no name, and 182 burials marked by either a white cross, temporary marker or both. There are probably several other unmarked burials. This burial list was performed and transcribed by De and Jay Bond in December 2002.
